Could Caltrain meet the requirement of "disposing" of the engine by donating it to a museum like State RR Museum in Sacto Niles Canyon Railway, Western railway Museum in Rio Vista, OERM,GGRM, Illinois Railway Museum..IRM might still be able to run it... or somewhere else for use as a static display?
Maybe none of the local museums would want it since they never ran out here
