Ah, that Christmas Eve I spent in Zurich, when we weeved down the Bahnhofstrasse drunk, after a great Christmas party in the University District... Trams just kept coming, even late into the night on Christmas Eve, and despite reproachful looks from the driver, dare we throw up in his tram...we all got home safe.

Jelmoli (a first class department store, with the best candy counter, as well) was the best deal in town for that breakfast..... all the cheese and yogurt you could eat, black bread canape's with asparagus, to American style small packages of rice krispies and corn flakes for the homesick...

My favorite European rail systems.
