Thanks, PDX, for digging up another visual gem. Despite whatever fictional circumstances may be involved, I think Hollywood's use of rail has been of some historic benefit, preserving action (and sometimes sound) of things that might otherwise be available only as static pics in a book, magazine, or online archive. And despite the filmed-slow / sped-up technique of such movies, it required some serious (and in some places risky) planning and choreography to pull it off. I'm sure if this thing were produced today, a majority of it would be shot against blue screen and filled in with CGI.
