"Ghost" line makes a temporary comeback

Have heard no fewer than 6 freights rumble through Northridge this morning-with the Santa Ana
winds howling through the valley and being out of direct visual range, cannot report on the direction or manifest, but suffice it to say,at at time when the discussion groups for the coast
are limited to (how late) the Starlight is,empty auto racks, baretables and a 25 car Qrvmn,it is refreshing to see activity (albeit)interim that is reminescent of days gone by-enjoy it while it lasts. If nothing else,it proves once again that the coast can handle increased traffic
when neccessary and will remain an important route as long as mother nature could unload at any time like the Tehachapi earthquake of 1952.
