Thanks to inattentive drivers, mobile devices, the popularity of SUVs and trucks with vertical grilles, a remarkable sense of driver entitlement, and the throngs of ride-hail vehicles clogging every paved surface imaginable, bicyclist and pedestrian deaths are on the rise!

Despite moderate investments in expanding bike lanes and the halfhearted measures of "Vision Zero," The roads continue to be unreasonably dangerous for everyone that chooses to navigate the public way without being ensconced within two-tons of metal and plastic.
