With freight ops going away in SF, here is one from the old days.

SP 2345 4-6-0 at Eighteenth & Harrison Sts.

San Francisco CA in July 1956.

This was what remained of the original main line
into the City at the lower end, and the locomotive
is facing towards Division St Tower and eventually
3rd & Townsend station, just as through trains would
have done when this was the only rail route into
San Francisco.
