Clem has proposed a general scheme with steeper ruling gradients which would bring Tejon-Grapevine into a doable fiscal range. The problem is dealing with the Tejon Ranch, which apparently believes the Convergent Zone land next to I-5 is the only property they can develop. Both the Ranch and Sta. Clarita can be dealt with, given the proper amount of suction(as Dyson would say).

Vegas HSR is a dumb idea - Sin City does not like the mundane nor utilitarian. Ergo they got a monorail instead of light rail. Promise them HypeLoop or maglev or teleportation.
