A Future for NEWSLINE?

I read with interest the ideas posted about continuing newsline. Newsline.net? Nope, not the same and not as friendly. Google searches? Tried it, I spend far more time, get tons of duplicate articles, get old news recirculated and half the searches yield unwanted articles. Everyone pitch in and use a standard format? It'll never happen - like herding cats.
As a transportation professional, I find Newsline a great resource to keep up on the industry and events, plus some articles of personal interest.
No volunteers have stepped up, but how about paying for Newsline? What I've found elsewhere is too fan oriented with not enough on transit, safety and passenger rail. Would anyone take $5000/year to spend 2 hours per day? I would certainly be willing to pay $50/year as a subscription to offset someone's time to organize the links if they use the same parameters as Larry and Rob did. Are there 100 of us who now do our own individual online searches who'd rather pay someone to do it? It's certainly worth it to me.
Are there say 100 or 200 of us so willing? And is there anyone who would do this? Asking and hoping. A good deal of the people who used to come to this discussion board are already gone with the demise of newsline, so this would have to happen soon.
