You really must have a burr up your ass about BART. BART this and BART that. God, don't you have anything better to do? Go on vacation, get a woman, have fun.

BART is here to stay. It is not going away, not going to re-gauge, not going to change anything in your lifetime. How much money do you think it would take for the new trucks for the fleet and the re-gauge work? Would it be really worth it? You couldn't use BART tracks for Caltrain, nor ACE, nor Amtrak. The Billions to rebuild all of the stations to accommodate they could be spent on other things in the whole Bay area.

The decision for the Indian Gauge was made over a half century ago. get over it please....

Maybe I should start campaigning to have BART narrow gauged. Works very well in Japan for their trains to move the masses at speed.
