The Overland Trail (SP '49 lounge) and the Pacific Trail (UP '50 chair) are looking for a lease on a shortline/tourist railroad operation. Neither car is for sale (YET!). We have some leads ... maybe the cars will end up in the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. As stated above, the diabolical Amtrak decision put a lot of mom and pop's out of business. My dear wife had to refund 70K in presales when word came done to cease and desist. We "contributed" about 150K per year to amtrak/LOSSAN in Vino Train operations alone.
Cars in dead storage now awaiting a new adventure.
