Both of my parents were born in Germany. Their families fled Nazi Germany because they were Jewish. Through conversations with my parents and other family members, reading books about Nazi Germany (i.e. Hitler's Willing Executioners), spending a full day at the Holocaust Center in Washington, DC and watching dozens of movies on Holocaust subjects, I fail to see any similarity between what the Democratic Party espouses and Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.
Lest you think I am an outlier, keep in mind that 79 percent of the voters identifying themselves as Jewish voted for Democrats in the 2018 Congressional elections.
