Most of the sideshow jerks and followers are not illegals - they were born here, and come by it naturally.

Since electric buses are thin on the ground in the Bay Area outside SF's trolleys, yes, something flammable (probably CNG, possibly hydrogen if they still have the fuel cell buses) powers the thing. Most of the fire, though, comes from the interior which, as everybody knows, is mostly made of plastic, which is an oil product and which burns quite nicely. Which is something to remember when building a fence in fire country - plastic fences and other structures may not rot like wood, but they light off about as easily as wood and burn hotter.
