My one and only contact with Bob Gray was when we were salvaging the Portland Traction line out to Boring. He inquired as to what we had available as far as relay ties went and I believe ordered three or four truckloads to go to Nevada. Some of them may still be under the V&T rails...this was in 1988 and he was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with.

May he rest in peace fully knowing his accomplishments are greatly appreciated.
