Removing old Tidewater rails

I noticed over the last week or two there were some UP crews south of Escalon (near Meyer) that were pulling up some of the abandoned section of the old TS. I know there hasn't been a train on that section in 20 years, but it's still sad to see it go. I grew up in Modesto (near the TS) and always enjoyed watching the trains roll right through the neighborhoods into Modesto.
