Are you referring to Earl Warren, then Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court ???
If so, then consider an earlier Legal Travesty perpetrated on the U.S. by Warren in 1942, when he was Attorney General of California -- The Internment of U.S. Citizens of Japanese descent.
