r, thanks for posting this. I had intended to do so several days ago. This program aired in the Southern CA area on Tuesday evening. I was awake for about the first hour of the two where they talked about coal and the Powder River Basin, its coal production and frequency of trains. There was also discussion of "clean coal" too. Specifically, some coal burning utilities are about to attempt to test sequestration the carbon emissions by injecting it into the ground. Where that cannot be done, it will have to be collected by pipeline.

Other than that, view it for yourself. The show is Frontline and the show synopsis from the KCET website says "An examination of how big business is responding to the looming climate crisis. The report covers China, where coal conglomerate Shenhua Energy's CEO Ling Wen answers to his shareholders, not the public, and to India, where car sales are booming."

Richard Elgenson, out.
