Isn't this sort of like what Byron Nordberg proposed, when he first advocated for adding a second main track through Camp Pendleton, nearly 40 years ago...(that is still not, as yet, completed today....???)? So that almost all peak San Diegan meets could occur at speed, on a high speed two track segment?
