The report is pretty detailed but not everything ordered in layman's terms. I assume the SAC RT photo is of a Sacramento light rail project bridge for comparison?

Maybe the photo from the Honolulu newspaper article made the piers seem spaced farther apart than in actuality. Still my visual take is the elevated is lighter than the structures on the Sta. Monica Metro line or the new San Diego line.
