We are 80+ year old native San Joseans— Sam Liccardos father was 1 year ahead of my husband at Bellarmine and his grandfather and my motherinlaw were presidents of the mothers and fathers club at Bellarmine and founded the big Golden Bell fundraiser— Sam grandfather later donated the money for the big Liccardo hall on campus for banquets etc— when Sam was widowed he married Alma Imwalle, the widow of my husbands cousin. Mayor Sam Liccardo has no clue about the CAHSR and Gilroy is not on his radar. And I am sure that he has been totally blindsided and unprepared for this situation with UP and is probably going to blow it big time—- but you never know——
