Cool Railroads

The July 2013 edition of Trains Mag has a small article on "How Cool is Your Railroad" written by Jim Wrinn. It consists of 7 major railroads, from BNSF to UP. It consists of 7 columns from NAME, TOP EXECUTIVE on to OTHER STUFF. Of the seven railroads, two are Canadian, CP and CN.

For the CP the Top Executive is E. Hunter Harrison. The article comments "Loved by Share Holders and Hated by Employees at CN he knows what ails CP and how to fix it".

For the CN the Top Executive is Claude Mongeau. The article comments "Following Hunter Harrison is a tough act. Turning on the charm to keep Ottawa from enacting regulation".

The rest is history.
