So yesterday evening returning from SF, as I exit at Ashby, a farebeater simply walks out the emergency doorsfrom within fare control to the parking lot. These used to sound a loud buzzer; nolonger. If BART were serious, a cheap video cam could record the infraction leading to a fine. I often see scoflaws exit at that location--the booth occupant pays no attention.
