I like the McCloud. Good operation, nice surroundings, very photogenic. Many Many Years ago I even made it to a steam excursion there (McCloud-Burney rt) - I'll treasure the pictures from that trip even more considering recent events.

However, from a business standpoint MCRR has no business existing. They don't have enough business to stay in business, unless by some miracle the lumber mill were to start up again or the bottling plant were to come into being as a rail shipper. So take your pictures and enjoy the dinner train while you can. If things are still running next summer I'll probably try to arrange a trip - pick up the YW too if it's still around by then (sans steamer considering the foreclosure elsewhere reported).
