I'll just say as a Jewish dude and a foamer, I have a different view of Montana.

In 1993, some of Billings' Jewish residents homes were vandalized by anti-semites. This occurred shortly before Channukah when menorahs are often placed in the windows of homes. Many of Billings' Jewish residents became reluctant to do this. In response, residents across the city placed paper cut-outs of menorahs in their windows as a display of community solidarity towards Billings' Jewish residents. More information in this article.

As an Eastern railfan, I've been to Montana twice. Once in 2003 to attend the Northern Pacific Railway Historical Association convention in Billings and then to drive to Bozeman, Butte and Missoula. The second time in 2017 on the Empire Builder to go to Glacier National Park.

Sure there are jerks in Montana, but there are jerks everywhere, including Pittsburgh, were I live. Montana is a beautiful state with an awesome rail scene and I will not let a few jerks keep me out of there.
