I’m sure the autos will be scrapped. I responded to the car carrier M/V Cougar Ace in the Coast Guard when it nearly capsized, and even though most of the cars were not physically damaged, they had been sitting at an angle and Mazda scrapped every one, nearly 5,000 cars in total. I think the auto manufacturers just don’t want to take on the liability if they sell them.
