It seems that there are many out there hopeless and see no future. SMART made the wrong modal choice; even if the will and the money were to appear for some flyovers and ROW segregation doodlebugs are not the right vehicle for light rail with substantial civil works.

If you want real rapid transit in the Northbay it is going to take money, hopefully not as spendy as BART but it will take some substantial funds to reach the City and to double track and do flyovers and relocate in SR to the east side of 101 at Kaiser and Administration Center. For starters.

Meantime SMART has to start the rethink of its mission.
