777 was not lucky for the NKP 2-8-4 which I saw at Conneaut in the summer of 1958. It was in rough shape and ended scrapped. The postwar Lima berkshires were cheaped out with solid bearings instead of roller. All the extant NKP 2-8-4's are wartime with better bearings, except maybe the last one, 779.
