I live here, in the SF valley. The monorail idea is cute, but I suspect that the heavy rail system will be built. I also suspect that it will be tunneled through the mountains, just like in Hollyweird. This is a connection that is greatly needed. The 1 $ BILLION spent on the 405 Fwy widening did nothing but line the pockets of the builders.
