Two more chances to ride over Tehachpi on November 10 and November 14 onboard our Vista Dome. This is your last this year to catch a ride on the detour! California Zephyr Vista Dome Silver Lariat will be attached to Amtrak No. 14 on November 10 from Los Angeels to Seattle detouring via Tehachapi and the UP's Fresno Line in the San Joaquin Valley. Ticketes are being sold between LA and Sacramento only. Special Pre-Election offer of only $198 oneway. This offer expires at 5pm on November 4. After this date tickets will be sold for $298. 12 dome seats are reserved for a "Guaranteed Dome Seat Class" . This upgrade is $148 oneway. The Silver Lariat will run empty between Sacramento and Seattle and return. It is cheaper for us to deadhead the car to Seattle than to try and sell tickets. The Silver Lariat will again be attached to Amtrak No. 11, the southbound Coast Starlight departing Sacramento on November 14 for another detour via the UP's Fresno Line and up over Tehachapi. This will be the last planned detour of our Vista Dome car over Tehachapi. Special Pre-Election offer tickets at only $198 oneway. Hurry...this offer expires at 5pm on Novmeber 4.
