The 900s are GE U10B built 1971 for FEGUA by Babcock & Wilcox in Spain under GE license - powered by Caterpillar D-398B engines at 1050/950 hp. (Common model in many places in the world, none in North America.)

B&W built GE designs in this era for several Spanish speaking countries. Something to do with the international monetary exchange rates.
