Always flooded would make it a lake not a yard. Talking about a railyard not a yard where you would have a yard sale or a lawn. More likely this yard was flooded only once a year like a girl on prom night and it had no lawn at all, again like a girl on prom night. There may have been sales there though, I wouldn't know. Probably some drug sales from time to time.

Glad you loved the picts! Meaning photographs not fierce and fiery Scottish Celts of yore. I don't even know how you feel about Scottish Celts and, frankly, I do not care.I hate them.
