Yes, lifts. Which take a lot of time to drag around and use, holding up the train. The Cal Cars have their wheelchair spaces on the lower level, and can load relatively quickly with ramps. That's going to be an issue with the new Siemens cars too - longer station dwell when wheelchairs or other disabled passengers need to be loaded. It's a downgrade from the equipment otherwise in use.
