given how Muni has failed to build decent transit on Geary for over 6 decades, I would take BART a. because though years late and 3-4 times as expensive as it should be,it actually might open before I die, and b. since current BART management refuses 24/7 transbay service, a Geary line tied to a second tube would make it harder for the %$&^*@#%^ to refuse in future.
Whether we like it or not, BART is here and certainly better service than Muni, the dumbguage issue is like whining about PATH and IRT being incompatible w/ the BMT/IND .
