The pre-Virgin plans did eventually aim to join the CAHSR tracks to downtown
LA to avoid the "train to nowhere" effect of ending in Victorville. As CAHSR
intends to delay building the useful parts of the system (Bakersfield to LA)
for as long as possible, who knows when this link will happen.
