I had never been to Twain Harte Ca. and was motorcycling in the hills recently to the East by northeast of town. We were on a very lightly traveled single track trail that looked suspiciously like a rail grade. before long we came across 3-100"ish sections of rail spread out on the hillside. We were out there all day and founder numerous obvious rail cuts and grades but no other relics. I assuming it was a logging line that must have been fairly extensive but I couldn't find much history on the Google and abandoned rails doesn't have it listed. Does someone know the name and some history of this line. I would especially like to see a map, partially to figure out where I was....Forgot the GPS
