Why would you want to make a memorial to a horrible violent incident even if you are trying to "have fun" about the movie reenactment of it?
I think the real people involved in the real life hijacking, police chase, and shooting would probably not want to be reminded of the horrible event that occurred there on Larkspur Boulevard. If anything, we would want the cop who saved the children and tried to subdue the hijacker peacefully to be given a memorial for his brave actions--not the movie star who played the cop. As a bystander who witnessed the whole thing from the freeway, I have no desire to have to see a "cop cutout" standing on that bridge as I drive by in afternoon traffic trying to juggle incesssant text messages from the office and the poor driving of the crazy commuters so common on State Highway 101(not a freeway)!
Let's try to think these ideas through before taking up valuable bandwidth on this w-site!
