I was searching for picts recently, on the internet not just out in the real world (what would be the point of that?) to disprove the notion or even fake news notion that SP 2472 wasn't kept in Larkspur rusting on the ties there until it was taken away in one the last moves on the Larkspur Extension before SMART re-opened it in early 2015 (when I say point I mean purpose not like the sharp end of a spear or a hook or a switch).

There she is rusting away literally "on the sleepers" as the song goes. Not even on the rails. Technically "off the rails" but not figuratively "off the rails" because she hadn't gone rogue at this point. Not yet. That would come later...after Larkspur...after Schellville...and after Martinez.

But that's another story.
