Looking at the Tennessee Pass video in a separate thread, makes me wonder, what are/were the advantages of a mid-caboose vs an end caboose cupola? I have ridden in all three for work (load escort) bay window, end cupola and mid cupola. I understand the advantage of a cupola vs bay window, but not the end vs. mid cupola. What were the arguments for each?
