Bluff's bypass tunnel, now new number one "real" intercity passenger funding "priority"...?

While we continue to piss away billions, just in cost overruns from incompetence, of our scarce taxpayer dollars, on the CAHSRA fiasco, we have another "wakeup call" on what should be our "real" interurban and intercity rail passenger service priorities in CA.

This, of course, is a real transportation "need" (as opposed to the CAHSRA "visons" of "sugar plums" in contractors dreams...) to even "keep" the 2nd busiest intercity rail passenger line, in the most congested intercity travel corridor in the United States, safely and reliably "in service".
