Amen, Brother! Just wait, once this stuff starts getting scrapped, it's going to be like the crime of the century in the eyes of rail buffs. But the bottom line is the preservation market is way over-saturated, and these fools who gave Ed Ellis money for at a minimum 5 years longer than they should have are looking to at least recoup a few pennies on the dollar for their horrible investments.
At least they'll get that much. The real pisser is all the smaller businesses who rely on every cent they can make to keep going that he hosed along the way won't see a dime. And unknowing taxpayers on the hook when "The Train to Christmas Town" showed up with a big ol' fat load of snake oil, and scammed local governments with great stories of preserving rail service and wonderful passenger trains for the whole family to enjoy.
I'm starting to feel nauseous just thinking about all this!
