Agreed. The final few years of Kodachrome was a sad ending. Garbage film with muddy blue and green hues. But the hardcore slide trading crowd insisted you use it and nothing but a cardboard mount was acceptable! I think all of us have some awful colored slides in our collection for this reason. I'll take a Provia slide in a plastic mount any day now that I sit down scanning the past.
