Amen! Not to mention all the other interurbans nationwide, notably the Aurora around Chi-town. I'm amazed that the 6other part of the Insull empire, the South Shore (AKA "The Yellow Peril"), survived the folly of the wholesale abandonment of electric traction after WWII.
