Page 115 of 4-10-2 Three Barrels of Steam by James E Boynton gives a roster with disposal dates. The majority were scrapped, or delivered for scrapping, in 1953-1954 with the exceptions of 5011, 5013, 5027, 5033 and 5047 which were scrapped, or delivered for scrapping in 1955.

As mentioned, 5021 was donated for preservation in 1956. It was the last steam locomotive in service in the Brooklyn (Portland)-Eugene pool, leaving Oregon in October 1955.
