I remember the bridge trains but never rode them. We had a pass and took the ferries. I can remember asking my father repeatedly to take the lower level when we drove to The City so we could see it, but he never did. I remember the hump in the tunnel and the photo in the paper of the airborne car. A drunk driver hit it at speed in the middle of the night and the paper had posted a photographer in wait.
