The SD45 era was '72-73. Also at this time they ran solid sets of the lower numbered 8400 SD40s. 8400-8420 were heavier than the later 40s. Back in '68 they were running C-628s and C-630s on occasion, spliced with F7B-units.
Also, most of the loads out of GP was newsprint. GP closed the Toledo plywood mill I believe in the late 70s.
