Fun fact, Dr. Richard Beeching worked with ICI, short for Imperial Chemical Industries, which compunded, besides house paint, additives for petrol...I mean gasoline. As thanks for his pruning of tbe branches, this gardener was raised to the peerage by the Conservative and Unionist paety government of the day.
