If your looking for a way to spend your tax refund you might consider the third annual rail camp sponsored by the Friends of the Nevada State Railroad Museum. The hands on camp will give you the opportunity to both run and fire 4-6-0 locomotive 25, run the only operating McKeen motorcar in the world and also the 1926 vintage Edwards motorcar. The four day camp is designed to give you a more than superficial experience on multiple facets of railroad operations...brakeman, conductor, fireman and engineer. The camp is limited to eight participants to avoid any "down time". This years camp will be held on June 11-14.
