OK, then it's my memory playing tricks on me. I thought it was a more familiar name like Gillette or Shick, but then again, back in those days "Mennen" was a pretty well known brand, with the commercials ending with the tagline "... by Mennen" sung as a jingle.

In any case, my thanks to you for posting the photo. Every once in a great while a new photo of that summer pops up, and it's great fun. I didn't get any pictures of my own, since I was still pretty young and didn't have a decent camera, so any photos I can find are really appreciated.
