I noticed today that Peninsula Terminal Rwy. in Portland, OR., has a new engine ??? At least newer than the black end - cab EMD switcher I saw there 15 years ago or so. This one is also an EMD end - cab switcher, red with a white stripe & no visible lettering. Any history on this engine ??? Also interesting that I saw it crossing N. Portland Blvd. about 10:30AM, much later than they used to operate.
