Thus far none of the pols have shown the smarts nor the stones to propose the obvious.

1. Ditch Bosco and freight.

2. Recognize Healdsburg is about as far north as you can go currently with any patronage and that is not a priority.

4. SMART has to be reconstituted as rapid transit and go to Southern Marin and the City.

5. The GG Bridge District is the only entity locally with the means both financial and political to deal with BART-MTC and put together a plan to go forward. SMART should be appropriated by GGT and all the real estate deeded over as well as banking for the future. Maybe Humboldt should be brought into the District.
