I purposely sought out and have since installed a black wall-mount rotary telphone in my garage; its mere functioning presence always causes comment...like the big sky blue Great Northern first aid kit I mounted to the wall in my laundry room. Next year I plan to replace the phone with a buff-colored rotary payphone circa 1967 just to screw with people even more. I'll move the side-door bottle Pepsi machine next to it...And NO, I don't have any change!

By the way, is Hirschdale near Verdi or closer to Truckee?
